Tea stall owner arrested over rape allegation

Dhaka: Police sent a young tea stall owner to a Dhaka court after arrest for allegedly trying to rape a three-year-old child at Arjatpara area in Tejgaon, Dhaka on Thursday.
Police arrested the tea stall owner Alamgir Hossain, believed to be 20, as the child’s family filed a case against the man on Wednesday.
Tejgaon police sub-inspector Mamun Shah told NTV Online: ‘The toddler’s mother on Wednesday night filed a case against the tea stall owner Alamgir Hossain at Tejgaon police. Alamgir was arrested at the night and sent to a Dhaka court on Thursday morning.’
