Banasree siblings were strangled: Autopsy report
Dhaka: The two siblings who were found dead at home in the capital’s Banasree area on Monday night were strangled to death, according to autopsy report.
Doctor Pradip Biswas, lecturer of the Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital who was part of the team that carried out the autopsy, told reporters that the body of Nusrat Jahan Urmi bore an injury mark around the throat, while the body of her younger brother Alvi Aman bore injury marks around the throat as well as a leg, reports UNB.
Earlier, the family of Nusrat and Alvi alleged that they died after having a Chinese takeaway.
Nusrat Jahan Urmi, 14, a Class-VII student of Viqarunnisa Noon School, and her younger brother Alvi Aman, 6, a nursery student of Holy Crescent School in Banasree were found dead at their home on Monday.
