Bagerhat: Two officers-in-charge of Rampal and Morelganj police stations and a sub-inspector were closed to the Bagerhat police headquarters, following an order of the Election Commission.

The police personnel are—Rashedul Islam and Mahbub Alam, OC and SI of Morelganj police station respectively, and M Rafiqul Islam, OC of Rampal police station.

Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat Mohammad Nizamul Hoque Mollah said they took the decision after the EC asked them to remove the three members of police from their respective offices and appoint new officials there.
