Khulna: Police arrested Khulna city BNP senior vice-president Saharuzzaman Mortuza from Picture Palace intersection in Khulna city on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.

The Sadar police officer-in-charge Shariful Islam said a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the BNP leader while he was attending a human chain demanding immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the killers of Comilla Victoria College student Sohagi Jahan Tonu at about 11:00am.
