MAPR wins Flame Awards Asia 2016
Dhaka: Market Access Providers Limited, Bangladesh, has won Flame Awards Asia 2016 while Muntasir Rashid Bhuiyan, the Chief Operating Officer of the marketing service provider group and also of Integrated Rural Activations and Promotions Limited (IRAPL), was honoured by the Flame Leadership Awards 2016.
The 7th edition of the Flame Awards was announced by Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) to recognise excellence in rural marketing, promotion, and initiatives. For the first time, Flame Awards Asia 2016 invites entries from India as well as its immediate neighbours. The awards presentation ceremony was held at Vivanta By Taj Dwarka in New Delhi on 11 March 2016.
The awards were graded on four criteria: concept, activity, amplification and results. Campaigns and initiatives that launched or debuted between 1 January and 31 December 2015 were eligible to enter the competition.
Over 300 Business leaders, corporate, GOI & leading rural marketing agency representatives attended the presentation ceremony. Vritti Solutions bagged maximum six golds, followed by four by PHD Media and three by JWT. While Impact Communications registered the most wins with 14 awards including 2 golds.
Other Gold winners of the evening included Accenture Services, Apollo Tele Health Services, Ayurvet Limited, Coromandel International Limited, Grey RC&M, ICAR, MART, Indian Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Netcore Solutions, OMD India and Smriti Television Media and Films Limited. Also Rural Development Academy of Bangladesh, and Lemon Private Limited from Nepal won metals in overseas categories.
Muntasir Rashid Bhuiyan got the Leadership Award for his extraordinary contribution in rural marketing and also for creating scope for Bangladeshi agencies in Nepali markets.
Market Access Providers Limited (MAPL) and Integrated Rural Activations and Promotions Limited (IRAPL) got Gold Award for the campaign of ‘Lifebuoy School of 5’ under ‘Long term project of the year’ category, Silver Award for the campaign of ‘Dove Litmus Challenge’ under the category of Direct Marketing (One to one) and Bronze Award for the campaign of ‘Robi Odommo Jersey Design Utshab’ under the category of New on ground property of the year.
