Hindu temple committee presidents receive death threat

Presidents of two Hindu temple committees received death threats through separate letters from unknown sources in Arongghata area of Khulna.
Shalua Sarbajanin Puja Mandir committee president Mihir Kumar said some unknown people left a letter in a yellow envelop at his Xerox print shop in Shalua Bazar at night at about 7:45pm on July 7, reports UNB.
It was stated in the letter that killing of priests will continue.
Meanwhile, another letter with the same threat was left at Shalua Nimtala Sarbajanin Puja Mandir around the same time by unknown people.
The letters were composed in computer.
Arangghata Police Station officer-in-charge M Nasim Khan said they have been scrutinising the letters and will take legal steps, if needed.
