BNP leader Mozahar Hossain passes away
Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s National Executive Committee member Mozahar Hossain, also former lawmaker for Panchagarh 2 constitutency (Boda-Debiganj), breathed his last at about 10:00pm on Monday in Dhaka.
He was undergoing treatment in a Dhaka hospital. He was 71.
He was elected lawmaker from his constituency for four times, said BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shamsuddin Didar.
He left behind his widow, two daughters and a son.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at his death and condolences to the bereaved family.
