Barguna: Police seized around 1,400 Yaba tablets from a young man at Sadar upazila in Barguna.

On Wednesday at around 9:00pm the man, identified as Sumon Hawlader, believed to be 30, was arrested from his home at Shingrabunia village in Keorabunia union of the upazila.

Barguna Police Detective Branch Sub-inspector Zafar Hossain said that being tipped off they arrested Sumon.

During the raid police seized 1,400 Yaba tablets and three machetes.

The SI also added that a case was filed against Sumon.
