Dhaka: Bangladeshi born national Kazi Monirul Kabir has won ‘Leadership Excellence In Technology Innovation’ (Individual Category) award 2017 in recognition of his continuous contributions towards driving Digital Transformations across South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

During the award ceremony, the World Leadership Federation, which presents the Middle-East Asia Leadership Summit and Award, announced Spider Digital Innovations CEO Kazi Monirul Kabir as the winner of ‘Leadership Excellence In Technology Innovation’ award, said in a press release.

The Bangladeshi born national was given the prestigious award in recognition of his continuous contributions towards driving Digital Transformations across South Asia, Middle East and Africa, added the press release.

The jury members announced Kazi Monirul as one of the winners, from over 150 nominations across the globe. Kazi Monirul Kabir was cited on his illustrated leadership career spanning multiple industries and geographies. His contribution in driving Innovations in Fintech, Cyber Security and Digital transformation in the Middle East and South Asian region.

‘I have always been a social entrepreneur at heart, always aspiring to test my knowledge and experience and work towards using technology for a greater cause of humankind,’ said Kazi Monirul Kabir.

Reacting to the news of his award he said, ‘I am humbled to have received this prestigious award and it’s a huge motivation to my perseverance in bridging the digital divide we witness around.’
