Rail communications of Sylhet with Dhaka and other parts of the country, which got snapped on Thursday due to collapse of a girder of a rail bridge resumed on Monday afternoon.

Noapara station master Monir Hossain said the train communications on the routes restored around 5 pm after repair of the girder, reports UNB.

A girder of a rail bridge near Itakhola rail station on Akhaura-Sayestaganj route caved in due to onrush of hilly water and rain around 8:00am on Thursday.
