Three municipalities — Meherpur, Biyanibazar of Sylhet and Maksudpur of Gopalganj — and 14 Union Councils in Banshkhali Upazila of Chittagong are going to the polls on Tuesday.

The balloting will be held from 8:00am to 4:00pm without any break in every constituency said Director (Public Relations) of the Election Commission Secretariat SM Asaduzzaman.

Besides, by-elections to two ward councillor posts of two municipalities, two ward councillor posts of Comilla City Corporation and member posts of six district councils will be held on Tuesday, he said.

The balloting was postponed in two polling stations of Comilla City Corporation in the recently held election.
