A Tangail court on Monday sentenced a man and his three sons to life term imprisonment for killing a man in 2015.

The convicts are-Sagar Mia, 60 of Elasin village in Delduar uapzila and his three sons — Ershad Mia, 28, Rashed Mia, 26 and Manirul Islam, 22.

According to the prosecution, the convicts swooped on the house on Majnu Mia following a dispute over the demarcation of the boundary of their house on July 18, 2015, reports the UNB.

The convicts hit Majnu with an iron rod, leaving him critically injured. He died at Savar Enam Medical College Hospital the following day.

Khadiza, wife of the victim, filed a case with Delduar Police Station.

After examining the records and witnesses, Tangail District and Sessions Judge Rabiul Hasan handed down the verdict.
