Dhaka: The results of this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations have been published with 95.18 percent pass rate.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Ganabhaban around10:00am on Saturday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam was also present.

The PEC and its equivalent Ebtedayee exams began on November 20 and ended on November 26 across the country with the participation of 3,096,075 students in 7,267 exam centres.

A total of 2,62,609 students have obtained GPA-5.
