Massive 6.4 earthquake hits Taiwan causing 4-star hotel collapse
A giant four-star hotel has collapsed after a massive 6.4 earthquake hit Taiwan, reports the Mirror.
The building is reported to be Marshal Hotel in Hualien City, which has almost 300 rooms.
The tremor struck 22km northeast of Hualien at a depth of 1km, the US Geological Survey said on Tuesday.
No other details were immediately available. A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck nearby on Sunday.
