Abdul Hamid receives gazette of presidency

Dhaka: Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Hudaon Wednesdaymet President Abdul Hamid and handed over the gazette of his presidency.
Abdul Hamid was re-elected unopposed as the 21st President of Bangladesh, reports the UNB.
A 7-member Election Commission delegation, led by the CEC, went to Bangabhaban in the evening and congratulated the President by presenting him a bouquet, said President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin.
He said the EC delegation also apprised President Hamid about the overall activities of the EC.
On April 24, 2013, Hamid was sworn in as the 20th President of Bangladesh.
