A mobile court on Saturday sentenced a teenage boy to 40 days’ imprisonment for allegedly sexually harassing a female SSC examinee at an exam centre in Durgapur upazila of Rajshahi.

The convict is Afzal Sharif, 18, son of Saidur Rahman of Bhabanipur village in the upazila, reports the UNB.

Afzal illegally entered Bakhtiarpur High School centre in the morning before the examination began and tried to molest the SSC examinee.

Later, other candidates caught him and handed him over to police who produced the teenage boy before the mobile court, led by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Samar Kumar Paul.
