The 'Spring Summer 2018' fashion trends brought by Le Reve are nothing less than bright, bold and really quite beautiful. This is the kind of collection that deserves to be attached to the word ‘iconic’, and that makes sense once you know that the whole glamorous affair is a tribute to our tech-obsessed society. As a result, the collection have become more fluid, soft, cosy and pliable this year- a surprising contrast to its perceptions of the past. Details channel utility of silhouettes and design contrasts are the key elements taken care of.

For Women’s the palette includes bright yellow, as well as lively mid-tones sugar pink and warm chai brown etc. Pale colours also appear: violet, river rock grey, and futuristic iridescent. Details are utility, Layered attached and De-taches Long-line Shrug stylings, Angarakha Pattern i.e. Wrap Silhouette, We have also varied sleeve and neckline offerings i.e. Flounce sleeves, Layered Trumpets, Cold Shoulders, ¾ tie-cuff patterns with our staple Tab-Sleeves and Tie-necklines, including cinched drawstrings and surface patterns like highlights on the princess panels, well framed Mitering, which is basically the alignment of the design, stripes or checks on the garment seams. In Bottoms, we have a wide variety of Palazzos, Harems and Belted Culottes All for Ethnic, Work wear i.e. Our Nine-To-Nine Collection as well as Adventure category.

This season we have also focused on to Women’s Mating Tops with Bottoms offering to consumers to have a one stop shop experience for our valued consumers. In addition to it we have our Summer Blazer (Formal wear) Range for our corporate customers. Contrasting prints, mixed media, and contrast stitching are important in this theme. Patterns are scientific, such as Petri pools and cellular prints, cityscapes, blurred techniques, or optical illusions and distortions which comes from varied Dye effects.

In Terms of Fabric we have incorporated Silk Charmeuse, Viscose, Stretch Polyester blends, and Cotton blends, Nude Knits, Heavy Stretch Marled Jersey, Georgettes and Modals etc.

In Men’s collection, the look will be more tailored though still sophisticated. We have a large offering this season in Work wear i.e. Our Nine-to-Nine Collection including Friday Tees with Motivational yet comic quotes and Henley’s. Our Casual category has a wide offering of top and bottoms emphasising on adventure and leisure lifestyle trends for our Consumers. In Men’s wear this season we have emphasised on Trends of Silhouettes such as Longline- Band collared Shirt, Some ergonomic silhouettes for work wear as well as Panjabi segment, V-Neck Part-Baseball Silhouettes in Shirts, Some adventure inspired Boxy Silhouettes and Statement Stripes. For Athleisure we have also focused on Dri-Fit, Micro fibre usage and Woven as well as Knitted Track Pants clubbed with running inspired T-Shirts. Sports and Work-Out Shorts will be a variety offering this year. Traditional Zip-Thru and Button Thru Shirt are playing the staples, inspiration will come from architecture and prism effects will show up on classic wear.

Colour is cooler in terms of tonalities and interrupted line work is taking traditional stripe patterns and making them a bit more dimensional. Key items: modernist shirt with oversized but tailored fit, sophisticated ombre colours with an oversized point collar, unique constructions, skyscraper pant, tech sweat, movement knit. In Panjabi, this summer we have focused more on Print media and traditional Motif as well as fabric inspiration with competitive price range for consumers easy. Materials includes linen, cotton, Half-Silk, weathered effects, wrinkled textures, quilt effects, jacquard weave and knits, and pattern blocking, screen embossing, fabric whisking effect, double collared layering and placket highlights etc.

Monnujan Nargis, Director (Design and Creatives) of Le Reve, has had an extensive and multifaceted career in the fashion industry, spanning the manufacturing, retail and design sectors. After working for several years in both National and International Fashion Retail sector, Mrs. Nargis used her years of Fashion and Trend experience to inform and support the role. Having gained an all-around experience of the industry, Mrs. Nargis went on to manage the entire Design and Creative Division of the company which became very much instrumental in staging the theme for Le Reve’s Spring Summer 2018 Collection.

Last but not the least, Le Reve’s kids collection offers cool styles with comic inspired graphics, Ditsy floral patterns, varied color blockings and fresh trendy silhouettes for New born, Infant, Toddlers and Children in wide age group from 0-3 years to 10-12 years, which makes Le Reve really a one stop for all your fashion needs. Inspiration being all bright, dye effects, wrapping patterns, netting dress, Organic and Geometrical patterns and water color effects. The key fabrics includes Raw Linen, Ticking Stripes, Dobby, Silk, Multi stripe, Moss knitting, Viscose blends and modals. Kid’s collection boasts of polos, t-shirts, casual shirts, half pants, casual trousers, Punjabis for boys and Skirts-Top, frocks, tunics, culottes and leggings for all lovely girls out there.
