The elections to Rajshahi, Sylhet and Barisal city corporations will be held on July 30.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Election Commission at Nirbachon Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday, reports the UNB.

After the meeting Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda disclosed it to the reporters saying, ‘The deadline for the submission of nomination papers is June 28, while the dates for scrutinising those are July 1 and July 2, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is July 9.’
