Dhaka: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations’ results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office at about 10:15am on Thursday.

In 2018, a total of 1,311,457 examinees from have taken part in the examinations. Of the candidates, 635,697 are male and 547,989 female.

The Education Minister will announce the results at a press conference in the conference room of the Education Ministry at about 1:00pm, an official release said on Wednesday.

Shortly after the minister’s press conference, the results will be available on the education boards’ website www.educationboard.gov.bd.

Examinees will also get their results from respective examination centres or educational institutions, websites of respective centres, and through internet and mobile phones.

A student has to type HSC > first three letters of education board’s name > roll No.2016 and SMS to 16222 to get the result in a reply SMS.
