Dhaka: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized six buses of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan for plying the streets despite cancelation of its route permit by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

The members of RAB-1 and RAB-4 seized the buses from different areas of the capital, said a text message of RAB, reports UNB.

On August 1, BRTA cancelled the registration and fitness certificates of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan amid public outcry as two of the company’s buses were involved in an accident that left two college students dead on July 29.
