19 Jamaat men held in Joypurhat

Joypurhat: Nineteen leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami were arrested while they were holding a secret meeting at Dhalahar village in Sadar upazila on Thursday, reports the UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Joypurhat Sadar police station Sirajul Islam said tipped off that some Jamaat leaders and activists were holding a clandestine meeting they launched a drive in a school building after Fazr prayers and arrested them.
They also seized some ‘Zihadi’ books from their possession, he said.
