Moshiur Rahman Ranga new JaPa secretary general
Jatiya Party Chairman H M Ershad on Monday made party presidium member Moshiur Rahman Ranga its secretary general removing Ruhul Amin Hawlader from the post.
Ershad took the decision as per section 20/1/A of the Jatiya Party constitution and it will come into effect immediately, reports the UNB.
Ranga, also the state minister of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Co-operatives, will discharge the duty of party’s secretary general alongside party’s presidium member, said Delwar Jalali, Ershad’s deputy press secretary.
However, the reason behind the removal of Hawlader could not be known immediately.
EC cancels nomination of Ruhul Amin Hawladar
The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday turned down the nomination paper of Jatiya Party Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar, reducing his chances of participating in the upcoming national election.
Matiul Islam Chowdhury, returning officer, announced the cancellation in the afternoon.
In Patuakhali, the nomination paper of Jatiya Party Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar was cancelled from Patuakhali-1 constituency on charges of loan default.
