Dhaka: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday congratulated Bangladesh Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th national election, reports the UNB.

The Saudi King, also the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, sent a message congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on securing her party’s thumping majority in the national election held on Sunday, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

In the message, he said, King Salman wished success of the prime minister as well as steady progress and prosperity for the people of Bangladesh.

Saudi Crown PrinceMohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a message greeting the prime minister on her party’s absolute victory in the parliamentary elections, the press secretary said.

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her party’s victory in the election.

Ihsanul Karim said the Qatari Emir in his message wished success of the prime minister as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
