Total lunar eclipse on 28 Sept
Dhaka: A total lunar eclipse will occur on 28 September.
The moon will enter penumbra at 06 hours 10 minutes 18 seconds BST and will leave penumbra at 11 hours 23 minutes 54 seconds Bangladesh standard Time (BST), an ISPR release said.
The moon will enter umbra at 07 hours 06 minutes 48 seconds BST and will leave umbra at 10 hours 27 minutes 24 seconds BST.
The central eclipse will start at 08 hours 10 minutes 42 seconds BST and will end at 09 hours 23 minutes 30 seconds BST.
Middle of the eclipse will occur at 08 hours 47 minutes 06 seconds BST.
The maximum magnitude of the eclipse will be 1.282. The moon will set in Bangladesh from 05 hours 30 minutes to 06 hours BST on September 28. So, this eclipse will not be visible in this country on that day.
