Mobile World Congress: REVE Systems joins 11th time

It is the 11th time for a Bangladeshi company joining Mobile World Congress (MWC), the biggest fixtures of Telecos. REVE Systems limited, the Bangladeshi software company is attending the GSMA-run annual trade show since 2009, said a press release sent on Saturday. The this year’s 4-day MWC began on February 26 in Barcelona, Spain.
REVE Systems, however, showcased Illegal VoIP Detection Solution and Mobile OTT this year at MWC. The newly invented Illegal VoIP Detection Solution enables regulatory commissions and operators to detect illegal VoIP and take actions against this wrong practice. Mobile OTT, on the other hand, allows low bandwidth calling, Instant Messaging (IM), IP SMS, Group Chat, File Sharing, Video Calling and Mobile Top-Up for the service providers.
Bangladesh representatives including the Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology minister Mustafa Jabbar companied by Posts and Telecommunications Division secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) chairman Dr. Shahjahan Mahmood, Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) secretary general T I M Nurul Kabir and Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) senior assistant director Khaled Faisal Rahman, have visited the Bangladeshi technology conglomerate’s pavilion at the third day of MWC.
They have also exchanged thoughts with M. Rezaul Hassan, the Group CEO of REVE Group during the visit. REVE Systems’ CEO Ajmat Iqbal and Head of Global Sales Raihan Hossain were also present at that time.
According to the guests, REVE has not only taken Bangladesh at a higher altitude but also made a great contribution to the software industry worldwide in its 15 year journey.
Mobile World Congress, the largest collaboration among operators, handset providers, system providers and different service providers were inaugurated in 1987 for first.
