Google doodles celebrate ICC World T20
The search engine giant Google on Monday paid its tribute to the ICC World T20 2016 with a colourful doodle on its homepage, reports Zee News.
The doodle gives us an amazing bird’s eye view of a cricket stadium with players standing on the playing field.
The cricketing extravaganza, which will be held in India, will begin on 8 March and will continue to 3 April. It is the sixth edition of the ICC World Twenty20, and the first to be hosted by the country.
Seven Indian cities will host matches at the tournament, with the final one to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The times of India report says, the first match will be played between Zimbabwe and Hong Kong at about Indian time 3:00pm followed by Scotland and Afghanistan at about Indian time 7:30pm.
Both the matches will be played in Nagpur. However, the Cricket lovers will witness epic encounter between India and Pakistan on 19 March in Dharmsahala.
