New Google Doodle marks Bangladesh Independence Day
Dhaka: Search engine giant Google has created a new doodle on its homepage, marking the Independence Day of Bangladesh, reports UNB.
The special Doodle was changed on Friday midnight with red and green colours as the national flag of Bangladesh consists of a red disc on top of a green field. The Google Doodle also shows a photograph of a bridge in its second ‘O’.
Google marks many special occasions with customised doodles (it changes its logo on the search engine’s homepage to reflect the occasion), from Independence days to civil rights or any trending topic.
The nation on Saturday is celebrating the 46th Independence and National day by paying glowing tributes to the Liberation War martyrs who laid down their lives for the country’s independence in 1971.
