Checart.com’s first Client Meetup held at Dhaka

Dhaka: ‘Breaking the technical barriers for traditional businesses to go online’ was the watchword behind the establishment of e-commerce technology development start-up Checart.com. It offers easy solution for creating a complete e-commerce site with all the payment options for entrepreneurs who find it difficult in terms of technology management and maintenance or balk at the huge initial set-up cost (with no immediate guarantee in a return on investment).
Checart removes both these barriers with a zero set-up cost and a monthly subscription based service covering the hosting, bandwidth and all other technical maintenance jobs of the site.
The long presence of the founders in the e-commerce sector of Bangladesh, coupled with the technology developed according to the deep understanding of customer behavior of a mobile driven internet ecosystem have attracted a good number of Facebook based businesses, boutique houses and young importers to avail the services of Checart.com within a very short period of time.
For these clients Checart arranged a day long workshop and experience sharing session on 23 July at their Head Office.
At his welcome note Sheikh Nasir Uddin, CEO of the start-up, detailed the roadmap and future development plans for the technology platform focusing on more user friendly mobile interface, easier payment and check-out process, embedded marketing solutions and integrating business tools like POS system.
Seezanur Rahman, a freelance Creative Designer working mostly for E-commerce businesses in the country, then demonstrated some essential tools and tips on product photography and about creating suitable and attractive visuals.
The much awaited session was on Facebook marketing best practices by Mahadi Hasan Sagor, co-founder of digital marketing firm Geeky Social. The hugely interactive session was full of questions from the online entrepreneurs which were answered with real life examples by the speaker.
A short session of Saidur Rahman, senior manager of the largest ad network of Bangladesh—G&R described their feature and services for digital marketing.
The final session was on E-Mail Marketing Masterclass from one of the leading practitioners in the market - Omer Sharif Ibney Hye, CTO of Zettabyte Gadgets. The lively question-answer session seemed to have continued much longer had not the organizer, Checart, called it a day well beyond the estimated closing time. Thanking all the attendees the organizers ended the program with a promise to arrange such sessions on more specialized features of online business on a regular basis in the future.
