A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the ICT Division of Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and information Technology and Women In Digital Bangladesh (WIDBD) on 5 January 2017.

Under the MoU, ICT Division and WIDBD will work collaboratively to organise the first National Hackathon for Women 2017.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at ICT Division.

ICT Division Additional Secretary Md. Harunur Rashid and Founder and CEO of WIDBD Achia Khaleda Nila signed the MoU on behalf of the organisations.

ICT division deputy secretaries Mahbooba Panna and Kamruzzaman, and Director (Training) at Bangladesh Computer Council Mohammad Enamul Kabir along with WIDBD Head of Administration Farzana Abedin were present during signing of the MoU.

After the signing, both the parties interacted and discussed on how to make the up and coming event a success and effective one.
