India’s BJP leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has managed to remain in the limelight ever since she has been named the party candidate from Bhopal, pitched against Congress’ Digvijay Singh.

After making insulting remarks against 26/11 martyr Hemant Karkare and boasting about razing Babri Masjid, Sadhvi made another statement – this time saying that cow urine cured her breast cancer. She was speaking to India Today TV as she filed her nomination from the seat in Madhya Pradesh, reports www.indiatimes.com.

She said it saddens her to see the current state of cows in the country. ‘Godhan amrit hai (owning cattle is like consuming divine nectar),’ she told India Today TV, reports www.indiatimes.com.

She then went to list down the several health benefits of cows and cow urine. The biggest health benefit for her, she said, was that consuming cow urine cured her breast cancer. Notably, Sadhvi is out on bail over health grounds.

‘I was a patient of cancer and I cured myself by consuming gau mutra (cow urine) and panchgavya mixed ayurvedic herbs,’ she said.
