Dhaka: Expressing his opinion on Bangladesh issue, The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon during his talks with the Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has emphasised finding a political way forward among all the parties of the country.

‘ [The] secretary general, I think, expressed his opinion in the way we've been expressing it here, which is to call to find a political way forward between all the parties in Bangladesh,’ said the Spokesperson for the UN secretary general at a regular briefing in its headquarters on 4 May.

He made the remarks when a questioner wanted to know what the UN chief had exactly told Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her press secretary after city polls in Bangladesh.

‘You know, we don’t have any readout to share,’ he added.
