Live larvae, bugs found in Nestle milk

Nestle India is going to face another blow after their instant noodles controversies as live larvae were found in baby milk which already has been declared unsafe for consumption.
The issue was surfaced by a complaint launched by Taxi driver Prem Anath in the Indian state of Tami Nadu claiming presence of larvae in a packet of Nestle’s NAN Pro 3 milk which he bought for his 18-month-old twin babies, reports Hindustan Times on Tuesday.
Upon his complaint, Tamil Nadu Food Safety and Drug Administration authorities too found 28 live larvae and 22 Rice weevils in the Nestle product declaring it unsafe for children.
Hindustan Times reported that the complainant Prem Anath twins suffered rash on their skins after being the fed milk for two days.
It was the latest controversies over Nestle product in India after the country’s Uttar Pradesh authority ordered withdrawal of the company’s Maggie noodles for it contained high level of lead and Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG), which are harmful for human health.
