Rajshahi: Three people were injured as miscreants hurled fire bomb at a bus near Buriburi intersection at Tanore upazila on Thursday evening.

The passengers were injured while getting off the bus in a hurry. The injured are Khadija, 25, Anwar Hossain, 22, and Rassel, 26. They received primary treatment from Tanore Upazila Health Complex.

Tanore Police officer-in-charge Anwar Hossain said miscreants threw petrol bomb at a Siam Paribahan Amnurar-bound bus from Rajshahi as it neared Tanore at about 6:30pm.

The bomb hit the rear-view mirror of the bus. Later the driver, his assistant and passengers put off the fire.
