Sirajganj: Miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a bus and left four passengers burnt on the west road of Bangabandhu Bridge at Kamarkhand upazila in Sirajganj on Thursday night.

Bangabandhu Bridge (west) Police officer-in-charge (OC) Helal Uddin said miscreants lobbed bomb at a Rangpur-bound Chalanbil Paribahan from Dhaka at about 10:00pm.

At least 10 passengers of the bus were injured during the attack; four of them received burn injuries.

Police OC said local people managed to douse the flame within a while of the petrol bomb attack.

The injured were taken to Shakhawat Memorial Hospital at Ullapara.
