Satkhira: Four members of a family were hurt as robbers hit them with iron stick at Goshpara in Satkhira in the early hours of Tuesday.
The injured were taken to Satkhira Hospital.
The victims said a group of robbers entered their house by cutting window grills at about 2:00am. The robbers hit the family members as they refused to give the keys of the locker.  

The injured are Ashok Ghosh, 58, his mother Madhumala Ghosh, 78, his wife Chandana Ghosh, 48, and son Jay Ghosh, 18.

They also tied up Ashok’s neighbour Nantu Ghosh and Shuvankar Das as they cried out for help.

Sadar police assistant town sub-inspector (ATSI) Azadul Islam said the robbers looted gold jewelleries, money worth Tk 5lakh.
