Jhenaidah: Two motorcycle riders were killed as two motorcycles collided head-on on Kaliganj-Kotchandpur road at Ishwarba area of Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah on Monday afternoon.

One of the deceased was identified as Rabbi Azad Siddique, 28, son of Jahangir Siddique of Bamundah village in Kotchandpur upazila.

Azbahar Ali Sheikh, additional police super of Jhenidah, said the accident took place in the area at about 3:30pm which left four bikers critically injured.

The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared two of them dead.

The two other injured were shifted to Jessore General Hospital.
