Hili: No more killing or border-related accidents will take place across the border from now on, says Joypurhat-3 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) battalion commander Lieutenant Colonel Khabir Uddin Sarker.

He made the statement after a battalion commander level meeting between the BGB and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at the Hili check post camp in Dinajpur on Sunday.

The BGB official said the BGB and the BSF are working to ensure the security of border areas and of the people living there. If any problem arises, steps will be taken to find out proper solution through meeting between the forces.

Colonel Khabir Uddin Sarker led the Bangladesh side while Patiram-199 BSF battalion commander Jitender headed the Indian side during the meeting.
