Tangail: Two teenage boys were crushed under the wheels of a train at Analia Bari of Kalihati upazila in Tangail on Wednesday.

The deceased are Babu, 14, and Alamin, 18, both hailing from Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district, reports UNB, a local news agency.

Bangabandhu Bridge East police sub-inspector Shafiqul Islam said the accident took place at about 6:30am when Lalmonirhat-bound ‘Lalmoni Express’ from Dhaka hit three people while crossing the rail tracks, leaving two teenage boys dead on the spot and one injured.

The injured was rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital.
