Two people were killed and 11 others injured when a bus crashed into a tree at Rohabari in Kajipur upazila of Sirajganj on early Saturday.

The Kurigram-bound bus of ‘Sumon Enterprise’ from Dhaka hit the roadside tree as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and 11 injured, said Zakir Hossain, an assistant sub-inspector of Kajipur Police Station, reports the UNB.

One of the deceased was identified as Mizan Chandra Roy, son of Lalmohan Chandra, hailing from Kurigram district, the OC added.
