Saudi Arabia to recruit 3000 Bangladeshi workers this year
Dhaka: Saudi Arabia will recruit 3,000 Bangladeshi workers in various professions this year.
Chief Executive Officer Fahad Al Sulaim of Eastern Recruitment, a manpower buyer of Saudi Arabia, told Bangladeshi Ambassador to the country Golam Mosi at a meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday, said a press release.
Counselor (labour) at the Bangladesh Embassy M Sarwar Alam, First Secretary (labor) M Asaduzzaman, second secretary (press) M Fakhrul Islam and Sonali Bank deputy-general manager M Abdul Wahab, were, among others, present at the meeting.
The Bangladesh Ambassador also had another meeting with senior officials of different companies at a hotel in Dammam on the day and he urged them to recruit more skilled manpower from Bangladesh.
Highlighting honesty, dedication and skill of Bangladeshi workers to the prospective employers Golam Mosi urged them to recruit doctors, engineers and skilled manpower of other professions alongside the general manpower.
Top officials of various Saudi companies, including Nesma, Al Yamama and Nasser S Al Hajri were present in the meeting,
Putting emphasis on training of workers, the Bangladesh envoy said the capability of manpower will increase if they get proper information about work environment, respective job responsibility, salary and other facilities before their recruitment.
He also assured the representatives of providing all kind of support to the workers on behalf of the government for their training.
