Satkhira: Two people, including a minor girl, were killed and 25 others injured when a bus crashed into a house on the Satkhira-Khulna Highway at Bhairabnagar intersection in Tala upazila of Satkhira on Friday.

The deceased are Gurudashi, in her forties, wife of Tarapodo Mondol and Asia Khatun, 8, daughter of Abdul Gaffar of Bhairbnagar village.

Mahibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Patkelghata Police Station, said the bus crashed into the house of Kuddus Morol around 10:00am, leaving the duo killed on the spot and 25 others injured.

The injured were taken to different hospitals and clinics.
