MP’s son fall ill while playing football, dies at hospital

Narail: A young man, son of a local lawmaker, died after falling ill while playing football at Lohagara upazila in Narail on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased is Badhon Sheikh, elder son of Narail-2 constituency’s lawmaker Advocate Sheikh Hafizur Rahman. Hafizur is also the president of Narail district Workers’ Party.
It has been known that Badhon went to play football along with his friend at a field near Sonadah Pachuria area of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon. During the play, he fell ill and was immediately taken to Lohagara Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead.
Badhon was buried at Lohagara municipality graveyard after his namaj-e-janaza at Lakshmipasha Annur Complex premises on Wednesday morning. Political leaders of several parties including Workers’ Party and local people took part in the funeral prayer.
