Habiganj: Two people were killed when a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Habiganj-Shayestaganj road in Dhuliakhal in Habiganj Sadar on Saturday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Quoting witnesses, police said the accident took place at about 12:00pm in the area when the Dhaka-bound bus crashed into the auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction, leaving the duo dead on the spot and 15 others injured.

The critically injured auto-rickshaw driver was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital while the others were admitted to a local hospital.
