Magura: A truck driver’s helper was killed as a bus ran him over at Ramakantapur in Shalikha upazila on Magura-Jessore road on Friday.

Rabiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said trucker Ismail Hossain, about 35 years old, was killed on the spot when a Khulna-bound bus of ‘HR Paribahan’ from Dhaka hit him while repairing their stationary truck around 9:00 am.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Magura Sadar hospital morgue.
