Passengers rescued after helicopter crashes into warehouse

Pabna: One of the five passengers was injured as a private helicopter crashed into a warehouse of rice at Bhadra area of Chatmohar upazila in Pabna on Sunday afternoon.
Chatmohar Police Station Officer-in-charge Ahsan Habib said the accident occurred at about 5:00pm, injuring one of the six people including the pilot.
The identity of the injured however, could not be ascertained till filing of this report at 10:00pm.
According to the OC Ahsan Habib, they left the Upazila Health Complex after taking primary treatment there.
Witnesses said the helicopter crashed near a warehouse storing rice, which is said to have overheated the chopper.
Locals had to pour water on it to cool the aircraft.
