Three motorcyclists were killed when a bus rammed into a motorcycle at Amkhola in Galachipa upazila of Patuakhali on Friday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately, reported the United News of Bangladesh.

Galachipa Police Station officer-in-charge Harun-or-Rashid said the accident took place in the area at about 11:00am when a motorcycle carrying three riders plunged into a roadside ditch as a Patuakhali-bound bus knocked it down, leaving two motorcycle riders dead on the spot and another injured.

Later the injured were taken to Patuakhali Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

On information, police rushed in and sent the bodies to hospital morgue.
