At least three workers on Tuesday sustained burn injuries as a gas cylinder went off in a factory of Sitakunda in Chittagong.

The injured workers - Ram Das (28), Razib De (26) and Monir (55) were admitted to burn unit of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, reports the UNB.

Sub-Inspector of Chittagong Medical College Police out-post Amir said the cylinder exploded while the workers were cooking their food outside S S Rupantor factory.

Aniruddha Das, a senior worker of the factory said that the factory authorities will bear all the expenses for treatment of the workers.
