Pabna:  Rail communications of Dhaka with the northern districts of Bangladesh suspended following a collision between two freight trains at Bhangura railway station in Pabna.

The collision took place at about 7:30am on Thursday, said Bangladesh Railway Pakshi Divisional Officer Ashim Kumar Talukder.

The railway official said a salvage train will go the spot from Pakshi for rescuing the damaged trains, which will make the rail communication normal.

However, the railway official could not say the exact time from when the train service will resume.
