Rajshahi: A bus driver and an unidentified man were killed and at least 20 people injured following a collision between two buses on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway in Kamarpara area of Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.

The deceased bus driver is Maruf Hossain, in his thirties, a resident of Kuthi village.

Altab Hossain, sub-inspector of Godagari Police Station, said that the accident took place when the two buses collided head-on around 8:30am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

The injured were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
