Chittagong: A paper mill worker was killed in his factory when he was caught up in the machine at Roufabad under Bayazid Bostami Police Station of the port city on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rakib, 21, son of Abdul Mannan of the same police station area.

Confirming the matter, Sub-Inspector Md Alauddin Talukdar of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) outpost, said

that Rakib got stuck in machine while he was on morning duty around 6.30am, leaving him injured seriously.

Later, he was admitted to CMCH where doctors declared him dead, the SI added.
